I pride myself on being able to do an entire show with nothing
more than a pen, some billets and my mind. However I will also
never leave for a gig without a set of ESP cards. For years I have
been doing various matching type routines but was taken aback
by the concept of ESP cards being limited to simply matching the
sets of cards.
I created the first routine from this project, “ESPrediction” which
I feel helps go someway to solve this issue. You could argue that
while a prediction is technically a form of matching it is a breath
of fresh air from the traditional “I place one you place one….”
routine. With virtually no more space you can add to your ESP
packet a gimmick and envelope which will enable you to perform
a full five minute impossible routine.
Following on from this the wonderful Jake Keane released a book
called “Psycho Wolf” whereby the titular routine in it was a
“propless” (more on that later) reveal of an ESP symbol. With
Jake's blessing I modified the handling to suit my style more and
he has graciously allowed me to teach my version of it on this
project.
Finally I will also cover a Drawing Duplication using ESP cards
which I have titled “Bob Ross.”
I want to keep this booklet concise as it is more to be used as an
additional supplement to the video tutorials you already have but
some may prefer the written word for learning vs my god awful
accent that is present in the tutorials (Sorry N.I. has a dreadful
drawl.)
