Andy introduces the concept of “Dead Zoning”, a method of predicting someone’s actions before they have a chance to strike. He places a target on a spectator and produces three items: a small gun, a knife, and a can of pepper spray.
While Andy’s back is turned, the spectator hides each item in a different pocket. Once the choices are made, Andy demonstrates his “Dead Zoning” ability by precisely identifying where each item has been concealed.
Then comes the kicker: the target on the spectator is unfolded to reveal that Andy had known all along where each item would be placed.
