This tutorial features three of my original and favorite Rising Card routines. All three are completely impromptu and require only a regular deck—no gimmicks—yet each achieves the effect of a freely selected card rising from the deck.
Impromptu Promotion ： My most performed Rising Card routine. The card rises in the fastest and most direct way possible. A spectator freely selects a card, the deck is placed in the palm, and the selected card rises automatically.
Invisible Rise ： The spectator selects a card, but the magician fails to find it. No problem—the magician commands the selected card to come out on its own. Unlike a traditional Rising Card, the deck is held horizontally, allowing the spectator to clearly see the card slowly slide out.
Joker Upgrade ：A double Rising Card routine. Two Jokers transform into the selected cards and rise one after another from the deck.
